As pet owners ourselves, we understand the concerns and needs you have regarding the welfare of your pet. We looked at the provision of veterinary care in Norfolk and saw a need for a more sympathetic and caring approach, where the pet and owner are treated with the same care and consideration.
This then is our aim - customer care and veterinary care hand in paw; an outstanding service with excellent value for money.
We provide comfortable surroundings and extended 15 minute appointments to give you the attention you deserve. We know how worrying it is when emergencies arise, so we run our own on call provision – even out of hours you normally will see your own vet, and they will have all your pet’s medical information at their fingertips. We have 24 hour on-site nurse cover, ensuring that if your pet stays overnight, they receive the best care possible.
Our qualified, experienced and caring nursing team offer advice & assistance, and run free clinics including dental checks, weight clinics and flea and worming advice. We offer advice on pet insurance and pet health plans allowing you to ensure your pet receives the best possible care and save money into the bargain. And it’s not just dogs and cats we care for; we specialise in the treatment of small mammals, birds and exotic species as well.
Louise, our practice owner has over sixteen years veterinary experience and is a past president of the British Veterinary Zoological Society, and our senior consultant Sally-Ann has over 10 years in practice. Our facilities are purpose built to offer the high standards of care you expect, including a sterile operating theatre and the latest & safest anaesthetic techniques available. We have our own in-house laboratory and many diagnostic test results can be produced while you wait. All our equipment is regularly inspected and serviced, and we are fully RCVS accredited. Post-operative patients go home with all medication needed (including pain relief and a special recovery diet, where appropriate)
Our extensive facilities and 24 hour residential nursing also enable us to take animals for boarding, especially those with special dietary or medical needs.
We work hard to ensure our medicines are competitively priced, and unlike some purchased on the internet, they are also top quality, stored correctly and come with good advice and back up should your pet have an adverse reaction or allergy. We also offer a wide range of animal food and accessories, all chosen and approved by ourselves.
Our extended opening hours, flexible appointments and Saturday and Sunday surgeries all add to our core aims – to provide the best possible care for you and your pets.
