Practice Facilities

reception at the practiceOur practice is located in a purpose built barn conversion in a rural situation just to the north of Norwich. We were able to design the layout of the surgery to meet our needs, with the result that we have large and comfortable accommodation.

As with the buildings, no expense was spared in equipping the practice to the highest standards. Our most important facilities include:

  • Large car park with dog walking area
  • Premises have full disabled access
  • Spacious & comfortable waiting room with retail area and toilets
  • 4 consulting rooms
  • Fully compliant pharmacy
  • Purpose built flexible animal housing to cater for a wide variety of species
  • All wards close to treatment areas with vision panels for regular monitoring.
  • Separate wards for exotics and small mammals and for dogs and cats
  • Heated vivaria for reptiles
  • Onsite vet and nurse accommodation for 24 hour patient monitoring.
  • Large flexible prep area
  • Purpose built sterile operating theatre
  • Latest and safest anaesthetic equipment
  • Digital radiography suite
  • In-house laboratory enabling many tests to be completed while you wait
  • Oxygen supply and treatment cage for heart and lung patients
  • Nebuliser cage for respiratory cases
  • Incubator for critically ill baby animals and small pets

We aim to be the best veterinary practice in the area, and we consider that customer care is as important as animal care. Here are just some of the things we do that make a difference:

  • We do all our own on-call care, so you will normally see your own vet whenever you call, and they will have your pet's full history at their fingertips
  • All our nurses are fully qualified, and there is a nurse or vet on the premises 24 hours a day to ensure in patients are properly cared for
  • We offer 15 minute appointments as standard, to ensure your pet gets the attention they deserve
  • We have long and comprehensive experience in treating a wide variety of species, and we accept referrals from other vets throughout East Anglia
  • We run several free nurse-led clinics to advise on day-to-day health issues. We are also happy to advise on any matter which is concerning you
  • We work hard to ensure that the medications we supply are of the best quality whilst ensuring that they provide the best cost effectiveness
